The two people above are stepping onto a field in central Illinois. Perhaps they are trespassers, maybe they are explorers. I think trespassing is necessary to learn, in order to cross borders and move walls.

In the Fall of 2009 I co-taught a Discovery course called Art Creativity Diversity with Professor Leslie Reagan, funded by the Mellon Foundation, at the University of Illinois. We had a really good time with our six students.
